We will never forget all the people and organisations who have helped us in many ways and those who continue to. After Paul died, one and a half years after the crash, Ella and I received bouquets of flowers and many messages, cards and letters from members of the public, some because Paul was in the military & police but others who had family in similar circumstances of ill health following injury and illness, telling me their stories and understood and empathised with everything we had to go through.
I received messages of apology from people on behalf of their professions, completely independent who had no dealings with us, for what Paul and we went through.
We would like to thank everyone who has donated money to charity in memory of Paul. Family and friends have also taken part in charitable triathlons and runs in Paul’s memory, including his brother Greg to raise awareness of Advance Decisions.
